SARA

Yemen’s culture is of Arab heritage, divided between Sunni Muslims of the Sahafi school and Shi’a Muslims of the Zaidi school.

There are small groups of Jews, Hindus, and Christians. For example, in 1949 and 1950, about fifty thousand Yemeni Jews left for Israel. In 1998, migration and high infant mortality limited the annual growth rate. The birth rate is high, and almost half the population is under fifteen.

On the other side, in contrast to Sara’s soft features, her character is very straightforward. She grew up in the Bronx. I recalled talking to her about her ethnicity and their arranged alliance. She was so upset and replied, “She will deny it.” Years later, I found her already married, and she told me she was pleased with her new marriage. I was very happy for her.

The creative process came quickly. For I have a sketch of patterns from Celtic, Asian, and Arabic, Sara allowed me to draw her eyes and turn meaningful. I put them together in a simple composition with the entire movement.

Moreover, the colors are an improvisation. It was the end of springtime, and summer was around the corner. So, I decided to use dark blue and turquoise at the bottom. The silver marker creates a fascinating look, just like her wedding motif. Her eyes are of an innocent observing—nothing to hide and fear.

In conclusion, her portraiture is an allegory to her innocence and growth in a different society, which is more relevant than her ethnic country of birth.

Levels

A composition that moves back and forth by its force. Levels explore inverse dynamics within small lines based on musical notes. Our point of departure goes back and forth from crescendo to minuend. In translation, what sound falls into blue is calm; pale yellows are their harmony and its accompaniment as in a symphony. Its visually encased shape creates tensity aesthetically. It does not hurt, and on the contrary, levels with our sight.

In the psychological, it founds an escape. Fuge in music with modules based on traditional notes. Straightforward lines vary in shape and color degrees. So, it provides an opportunity to introduce wave frequency in a mechanical context.

Diamond forms painted between and behind lines are absent in tempo. They are transparent and almost like ghosts, resting silently where music exists. So, our heart beats and leaves an echo in our heads through a muted sound.
The idea was born from a movie scene set in a French elevator. The sunlight reflected wide open through the Deco bars. His dazzling movement waves and enchanted my soul, and the wires moving such a weight were like a heart beating, multiplying one after another, and the result came out in music levels.
Old ideas will be updated in new ways. Then we will be gone, and nature will be here to remind the latest generations of our passage fragility. Either the Lines falling are our upcoming challenge, or our fall is up to us to overcome and keep going, just like in the levels.

Hope

Hope, every culture has ways of taking care of nature further, all in the name of progress.  Incidentally, greed wins most of the time. In addition, some governments do not address the problem deeply enough. Afterward, we do not even think about the causes. As a result, the extinction of many species is on the way to being part of a museum.
This painting symbolizes the uncaring attitude of humans whose attitude damages nature without considering the consequences. The tree is my objective. Additionally, I combined it with different symbols to create a single object. The Characterization of each tree is playful. Perhaps as hope to all of us. Indeed as reminds to us that there are also kids and elders and we are not alone on this planet.
In the technical aspect, it is necessary to explain how it was made and what materials were used. To attain subjectivity, it is necessary to determine the painting’s looks. First, coat; wet into a wet technique to build texture. Then, along with added color variations on top of it. I created depth in the layers:
To sum up, These image surfaces represent technology—turned into mechanized organic forms. This is the industries around the world and the contamination they are accountable for. Besides, notice that the bottom contains fish bones. Shaped as ornaments. In short as a synonym for being in extinction awareness.

On the other hand, we must survive by disposing of and assessing whatever is out there. Nevertheless, “we have to exist, is a fact. But we have to treat our mother earth with respect.” I hope to grow anew. “Where will we stand if the ground is gone.” you can’t reach the heavens without Mother’s earth. A wake-up call to environmental issues. We are experiencing this in our lives. Nature does not have time to heal. In its component, we are extinguishing our resources. There is a simple answer: to take care of our home.
