The Sequence

The Sequence

It is a transformed image from the zodiac sign, dedicated to a good friend of mine. As well as a reminder from our beloved family. A development from the Metamorphosis sequence, you may find a previous painting in the other publications where anthropomorphic figures materialize. It’s more of saying a creative run in development, its vibrant colors, full recalling a story. Moreover, this referred to a good time in the past. Aspiring to go back, not at all. It is better to leave good memories than to see the end ruined. I am not running away from responsibilities, just enjoying life.
The Sequence symbolizes our encircled behaviors, stuck in our thoughts and unable to overcome, spending years in the same role. Controlling them is mastery. There is much to do daily, and our expectations are part of our motivation to get what we want.
Moreover, these forms share many traits from ancient times: rough, strong in dynamic, sensitive, and pure. Green is fertility; here, it leads to a calm ocean, where two figures follow each other and perhaps engage in love, ready to fulfill their mind and body together.
Love does not last, so I painted it rough to point at a reminder of our momentary beauty. In short, it is a transition test appointed to us to learn to use it, accept it, or live it and accept it as it is.

The idea was born from a trip to Montreal, Canada. At the train station, to visit the dome, there were walls full of mosaic art. Calm Blue is an experiment to abandon details. The brain captures fragments of ideas turned into images. So, in deciphering this, it came in a serene blue. The Dancer is the next painting in a series called “Hope.” Here, the tree is rejoicing, passing through obstacles. Thanks to environmentalists and people who are keeping our environment safe. My artistic practice creates a sanctuary that evokes warmth and comfort—much like a genuine connection. Using gentle illumination, tactile materials, and resonant sounds, I invite viewers to experience this sensory unity. Foster closeness and create a subtle yet profound bond.
