Biography

Biography, hello, and welcome to my world of art!
I was born in Ecuador, and from a young age, art seemed to flow naturally through my veins. Even at the tender age of five, I found joy in sketching portraits of family and friends. Growing up in Ecuador, surrounded by its stunning landscapes – mountains and the majestic sea – I was mesmerized by the colors and life that surrounded me, sparking my imagination and igniting a passion for creativity and beauty.
Furthermore, at seventeen, I embarked on a life-changing adventure, relocating to the USA to pursue my artistic dreams. Immersed in a diverse artistic community, I had the privilege of collaborating with local talents. Which profoundly enriched my understanding of art. I honed my skills in oil and watercolor painting, delving into the intricacies of color, form, and emotion, each stroke to the growth of my unique artistic voice.
In any event, amidst my creativity, I recognized the value of formal education in my artistic acumen. As well, fueled by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to excel. I dedicated myself to obtaining master’s degrees in art education and graphic design. In addition, This journey was a commitment to embrace every challenge that came my way.
As well as I evolved as an artist, I discovered the joy of teaching young minds. Indeed, guiding students in the vibrant tapestry of New York City schools, I realized that teaching art was as much a learning experience for me as it was for my students. The challenges of shaping young talents further deepened my understanding of art and its impact on lives.
Translating life’s myriad experiences onto the canvas has been a defining aspect of my journey. Each piece carries a unique narrative, and beauty, of human existence.
