WINDOW SHOPPING

My approach to this subject is to explore the stereotypes coming from the male and the female point of view. That is to say, their point regarding their assumptions of appearance.

For instance, how many times have we encountered it out there in society, almost every day? The advertisement is number one on my list, from fashion magazines to home décor magazines where the woman has been presented as slim and perfect.

On the other hand, a man has to look sharp and smart all the time under any circumstances. There is no right or wrong for not knowing things, and we still do not acknowledge it.

This painting raises questions about conventionalism. The Female fits the standard from the male view as being available. The idea is that behavioral and psychological differences between women and men have biological causes that have not disappeared.

The glass window serves the purpose to protect the soul of the person. The other images, such as the signs, are us; the words are her projection and we are the viewers. We are mirroring through her actions. Fulfilling what we may wish to feel, think, or be adverse for her when in reality is only an assumption.

Not closer to her true feelings. On the other hand, I used the glass to hide the content of her beauty as a protective disguise.

In conclusion, assuming ideas create false findings, we should let the course run its path, meaning to observe and be discreet.
